 Wildlife
Owning property in rural Texas has many benefits, among them getting to experience our abundance of wildlife.  Over 600 species of birds have been found in Texas, more than any other state.  If your property qualifies, you can manage your land for wildlife and receive a lower tax valuation. Even if you do not qualify, you can still be a good steward of your land.
• Learn more and have a Wildlife Biologist visit your property
• Providing a wildlife friendly habitat increases your enjoyment
• Small acreage landowners play an important role

 Wildlife Cameras

Wildlife game cameras are rapidly growing in popularity.  Set one up by your waterer and see what's visiting in the night!  Deer, raccoons, and opossums are popular, but you might catch a ringtail or bobcat coming for a drink too!

If you have nest boxes, a small camera can be installed to watch eggs hatch or parents feed the young.  This is a great addition to a screech-owl box!
