 Habitat Management for Healthy Wildlife

Our land has changed in the last 200 years, and it might take some human influence to restore it making it more suitable for native wildlife.  If cedar has taken over, forming dense thickets, it will need to be thinned out.  Not removed completely, as this can lead to erosion.  You may also want to consider a prescribed burn, or planting native trees and grasses.  When you manage wildlife habitat on your property, you are almost certainly helping to increase biodiversity as well as improving aesthetic value of your property.  Preservation Texas can assist with a habitat management plan.  We also have trained crew of professionals to smartly thin and remove cedar.
